Saturday Night I had a chance to catch Childish Gambino’s show at the Shrine in Los Angles. The energy in that place was CRAZY!! And he put on one hell of a show. After doing his 3rd Encore he sent out much love to his city and fans, and head backstage where I had a chance to catch up with him….
The Usually “Meet and Greet” process goes something like this… You get a quick introduction to the artist, then a even quicker picture, and your out of there.
But, this time was totally different… Childish Gambino invited us into his dressing room, where he thanked us for coming out, and asked for our feed back on his show. We went on to talk about his music, his first run in with Pharrell and The Neptunes, before he was famous, and how he told them he’d be back to work them one day! We also talked about his future direction of music, and his Coachella experience this year.
The over all experience was awesome, and I have a new respect for Childish Gambino!
